Information on ‹W› Lagerbox Au/Wädenswil
- Storage units 201 to 284 are on the 2nd floor (usable height: 2.50 m)
- Storage units 301 to 399 are on the 3rd floor (usable height: 2.50 m)
- Storage units 401 to 495 are on the 4th floor (usable height: 2.75 m)
- Access via the ramp on the ground floor via Seestrasse or the ramp on the 4th floor (on the hillside) via Austrasse --> Alte Landstrasse
- You will receive a keycard with which you can access the building and your storage unit.
- You will find more details on the extensive information sheet.
- Please close all doors and gates behind you! Doors and gates left open will trigger an alarm!
- CCTV is in operation in the building.
- Motion sensors turn on the lights automatically in the corridors. The lights will turn off again automatically after a certain period (there are no light switches).
- Running water and toilets are available on the 2nd and 4th floors.
- Deliveries can be made via the ramps on the ground floor and 4th floor. Parking spaces are available for visitors.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises of w. wiedmer ag!
- Please note that the area is to be left tidy and all equipment must be returned to its designated location.
- Please take any waste with you and dispose of it privately.

Location
The property is located opposite the Au ZH railway station and offers excellent transport links. The range
of intercity and S-Bahn connections along the lake in the direction of Zurich, Zurich Airport or Glarus and Grisons is excellent. Au is well connected to the national and international road network via the A3 highway. The highway leads to the city of Zurich in just 15 minutes. From exit 36 "Wädenswil" the property can be reached in only 5 minutes. From the train station it is a 2 minute walk.
Property
The 5-storey property at Seestrasse 317 was completely renovated in 2015 / 2016 and the 2nd - 4th floor converted into a self-storage facility with 300 storage units. On the ground floor and on the 1st floor, storage rooms and partial/storage areas are rented. The conversion created a completely new infrastructure with a new goods lift with a load capacity of 3,000 kg each in the immediate vicinity of the two docking stations for delivery by standard trucks. Delivery option via ground floor and 4th floor (hillside location). A 100 m² transshipment area is available for deliveries on the ground floor.
Town
Au is part of the political municipality of Wädenswil in the Canton of Zurich and is located on the upper left bank of Lake Zurich on Zimmerberg on the A3 Zurich-Chur highway. Education, research and innovation are now as important in Wädenswil as industry used to be. The largest institution is the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) with 480 jobs and over 1000 students. The excellent transport connections, the proximity to education and research and the beautiful location make Wädenswil an interesting business location.
