More space to live!
Compacted building makes screeds and other storage space disappear. The financial interest of many builders and buyers falls primarily on the beautiful, bright living spaces. Screeds are removed and converted into living space - storage space does not bring any profit.
The trend is towards ever smaller apartments in the cities, as living space in the conurbations becomes more and more expensive. Only those areas are rented that are absolutely necessary for living. Many city dwellers state that they have too little space in their apartments. To rent a storage room is often cheaper, the need can be covered square meter-exactly and in the own four walls is again more place for living.
What is self-storage and who needs it?
Self-storage is the term used to describe storage in locked, secure, privacy-protected and easily accessible individual rental units of various sizes with flexible rental periods. Due to the constant changes in the professional and private life situation and the mobility of people, self-storage is also in trend in Switzerland and the demand for self-storage storage boxes is constantly increasing.
